Taisia - Taisia releases update to Sofia appointment reservations

October 22, 2007; - Sofia, an appointment reservation system designed and produced by Taisia Ltd received the first major feature update since its original release in 2006 and was deployed into production.

Taisia Ltd's in-house built appointment reservation system, Sofia, was upgraded with the first major new feature release in October, 2007. The software has been in constant business by the company's Customers since it's original release late 2006.

Sofia is a web-interfaced, database driven appointment reservation system. The software is specifically tailored for small business dental services, dentists, oral surgeons, dental assistants and dental receptionists use. The system manages time and appointment reservation of customers as well as operation room reservations, dentist personnel reservations etc. It has been tested and developed for the daily, real world application and need. It includes such advanced features as automatic sending of SMS text-message alerts to customers, notifying them of their dentist's appointment.

The Sofia appointment system can be hosted in Taisia Ltd's data center or be set up as a stand-alone service at the Customer's location, depending on the Customer's own preference.
