July 8, 2005; - Taisia Ltd and a company operating in the Finnish educational sector agree upon a relatively large maintenance contract, within less than two months of Taisia Ltd's establishing. The deal includes SNMP-based, customized network monitoring systems with pre-emptive alerting (SMS & e-mail warnings), the general administration of several server-systems mainly running Microsoft Windows 2003 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 servers plus an implementation of customized monitoring for uninterrupted operation. Including also such as Microsoft Active Directory with LDAP-authentication to respective Linux-systems consisting a low cost open source students' e-mail and a file-server for home directories, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 staff e-mail system integrated with Linux-based anti-virus and spam-detection gateway and other systems. Topped with general network security, backup operations and firewall configuration plus consultation on a per need basis, this can be described as a total solution for the company, greatly reducing their need for in-house expertise and cutting down personnel costs. |
